Sue Black  (above with her horses) attended William Woods College in Missouri, majoring in Equestrian Studies. She is a Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medalist with the United States Dressage Federation, an “L” judge, a certified "Centered Riding" Instructor, and has competed many horses to national awards at the FEI level.  She is responsible for establishing and managing the Trails End lesson program.  Sue teaches the Dressage lessons and works extensively with clients that show at USDF and DLSC Dressage shows.

Kelley Davis grew up in the horse world near Ocala, FL on her own farm. Kelley has ridden with multiple clinicians over the years. She started in the hunters and then moved up to the jumpers on both the local to AA level. Kelley enjoys working with everything from the OTTBS to Warmbloods. She can handle starting babies, retraining problem horses, hunters, and jumpers. She also enjoy taking training horses off property to hack out in fields/cross country that way her horses feel comfortable no matter where they show.

Kelley absolutely love to teach both children and adults the proper way to ride, from their seat to legs and up into the hand. Growing up her mother had believed she needed the dressage foundation and now Kelley still continues that into every horse she rides no matter which discipline the horse is geared towards. She also teaches her students the proper way in which to engage their horses. Safety is number one for her and she will not put any of her students in any situations that they are not ready for. The type of trainer she is someone who encourages my students to not only exceed in their riding, but also in life.

Our Philosophy
Trail's End's lesson program is customized for each student, with an emphasis on safety and proper equitation.  Instead of using a one-fits all approach, instruction is geared toward helping individual riders meet personal goals according to abilities. Lessons are designed to help students work on basic, and include a variety of exercises to keep learning both fun and safe.

Trails End also employs several instructors for our beginner lesson program.
